Split-Level Transformation
This family home, built in the 70’s, felt closed-in, dark and dated. We added several new windows and large patio doors in the living and dining areas to brighten the great room and take better advantage of the lovely views. We removed the kitchen walls and a door to the backyard to improve workflow and make the new kitchen feel more open. The great room’s fireplace was re-clad with new stone to blend in with the new finishes. The stairs and railings were re-done in a more modern/open style to let more light into the basement. All three bathrooms were updated and closets throughout were fitted with new organizing systems. New lighting layouts and fixtures keep the spaces bright. New flooring throughout will withstand busy family traffic for years to come.
