Spiral Concrete Construction

We started building a public washroom facility for the city of Nelson. The project was initially proposed to the city of Nelson by the Cascadia Green Building Council. Local architects and engineers volunteered their design expertise to come up with a building that was unique in both form and structure, featuring several green building techniques. We were awarded the contract in the spring of 2012 and started construction in April of 2012. The structure is based on the Golden Spiral. The formwork for the concrete was fabricated on site.
